Hmmmmm!

The Dream

At the start I wanted to record our journey (world bike tour) with stats on distances, altitudes, route ... and so found a GPS unit call Garmin Edge 305 which supplied all this info and could be uploaded to a computer for easy overlay on Google Maps ...
So that started a chain of events that have resulted in many late nights, and the problems? A good day was when there was only one problem that needed solving. Anyway what seemed like a simple idea, quickly turned into a spiralling, out of control project.
But the dream finally got completed and here it is, a Karate Monkey fully loaded with a Bob attached, mounted with a 50 Watt solar panel and 33Amp battery ... isn't it dreamy.

Problem was putting a 33Amp battery on results in a 13.5Kg lump that not only would be a killer on the hills but along with the setup of the Karate Monkey resulted in Bob attachment overloading problems. So this will remain just a dream for now and the solar has been ditched, sadly, I am crying ... soon a page will detail the dreams design faults. And soon the real tour setup I have will be shown here.
